Write your Academy Awards acceptance speech.

Wow…I never thought I’d be up here giving this speech. First, I’d like to thank the academy. Mom, Dad, Elyse, Em… The producers, cast & crew. Kruse, Gregg, T. Pete, even though he pulled so many pranks on me. JB, Chico, Jamie. Um… DGP, Dr. Havice and anyone else who helped me along the way. Wow. I can’t believe I’m actually standing here holding this…the Oscar for Best Achievement in Editing. Man, this has been a lifelong dream… Anyway, I know what it’s like to be on the other end of this broadcast and working at an affiliate, so I’ll wrap this up.. Thank you all!

Mark my words… I *will* be giving a speech similar to this some day… Oh and yes, I did drop friends into the speech, even if only by “code.”

    I know you will and I hope to be sitting there so proud of you saying I knew you would do it. I think that every time I watch the credits on a movie and I make Tony sit through them and I dream of seeing your name as the Chief Editor.
