So if you remember, I mentioned a hot dog place here in Madison in this post.  Well, Emalee and I stopped there for lunch yesterday after walking around Farmer’s Market.  Holy hell, these are the best hot dogs you can get north of the IL-WI border!  They are true to the Chicago style and even the peppers had kick to them.

I would highly recommend anyone looking for a real Chicago hotdog in Madison to stop by there.

I’ve now seen several reviews of Mad Dog’s Chicago Style Eatery which is just off State St. in Madison… Two  good reviews, one in the Isthmus and another here, and one less than stellar review by some guy from Minnesota in the Badger Herald.  I think I might have to go put the place up to the challenge and see if it’s anywhere near as good as the dogs from Budacki’s (Chicago) or Hot Dog Richie’s (Palatine, IL).
